Collecting Exam Certificates
The certificates from this summer’s exams (and previous years) may be collected from reception.Certificates may be collected from school during the hours of 8.30am-12.30pm and 2.30pm-4pm during term time. Please report to reception and ask for the exam certificates.
If the student is unable to collect the certificates in person and needs a relative/friend to collect them on their behalf, they should provide the person with a signed note authorising them to collect the certificates on their behalf. This person should bring the letter with them, together with a form of photo ID (identifying the person collecting, not the student).
The school also offers a certificate postal service. Certificates will be posted via Royal Mail’s ‘1st Class Signed For’ service at a cost of £3.50 per student. For students who have left the school, payment may be made via cash or cheque for the above amount.
The qualification regulators, JCQ and government departments responsible for education have prepared and agreed information for schools and colleges in the event of examinations being seriously disrupted. This jointly agreed information will ensure consistency of response in the event of major disruption to the examinations system affecting significant numbers of candidates.
The awarding bodies have designated Wednesday 24 June 2020 as a 'contingency day' for examinations. Centres must therefore remind candidates that they must remain available until Wednesday 24 June 2020 should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan. Therefore, if your son/daughter is taking public exams this summer, please book your holidays after this date.
